LAKEPORT — The Lakeport City Council will introduce the new city manager, Margaret Silveira, at its regular meeting starting 6 p.m. today.
The council will have a workshop starting 5 p.m. regarding housing and hold a public hearing to solicit citizen input on the 2010/2011 Community Development Block Grant Program.
Council members sitting as the Lakeport Redevelopment Agency will consider buying a mobile home in the Fairgrounds Village Mobile home Park for rehabilitation. The agency will also discuss possible affordable housing projects.
The council will address a number of other items at its meeting in City Council Chambers at 225 Park St. in Lakeport.
