It has been a while since hearing from Randy Ridgel and I surely did not miss his negativism. He appears to believe that he knows everything about politics and that he is correct in his assertions regarding politicians that do not do as he thinks they should.
Why is he picking on Mike Thompson regarding fishing? It is none of his business what Mike Thompson or anyone else does with their own time. It appears that Ridgel just cannot stop his going on and on about Mike Thompson. What could Mike Thompson have done to Ridgel that has caused Ridgel to be so negative against Thompson?
Ridgel also stated in his last bit of ranting that Mike Thompson has a fishy grin. I consider that remark as Ridgel personally attacking Thompson. The whole article is very negative, but that”s perfectly normal for articles written by Ridgel. I cannot remember ever reading anything written by Ridgel as having any positive statements or having any ideas that could be considered useful.
I wrote to the Record-Bee months ago regarding Ridgel and his negative attitude and remarks, but my letter was not published. I was told that I was personally attacking Ridgel so my letter would not be printed. My letter at that time was not in any way as nasty as this last letter by Ridgel.
I would like to see a response by Mike Thompson to Ridgels ranting article. He will be reading what I am saying here and I am sure that he has already read Ridgel”s letter. Maybe Thompson feels that Ridgel”s know-it-all negativism is not worth responding to, and I can easily understand that.
I expect to see this published, just as Ridgel”s letters are. I believe that everyone has a right to think as they desire, but Ridgel has definitely crossed the line with his nasty one-sided and personal attacks on those who do not see things his way. I know that others feel as I do, but not everyone is willing to have what they think put in print for others to read. I will be looking forward to seeing my letter in the letters to the editor section of the Record-Bee.
