LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Board of Supervisors inaugurated Russell Reza-?Khaliq Gonzaga on Tuesday as Lake County Poet Laureate. Tuesday”s proclamation has formally appointed him to serve a two-year term as poet laureate. His predecessors to the office, Mary McMillan and Sandra Wade, were among those attending on Tuesday, as were supporters from Harbin Hot Springs near Middletown, of which Gonzaga is a resident.
Gonzaga facilitates a Writer”s Wordshop, 6 p.m. Sundays at Harbin Hot Springs. Although the event is free, Harbin gate entrance and membership fees apply. For more information,visit www.harbin.org.
