Just in case there are some people in Lake County who are abstaining from the liberal Kool-Aid, it should be pointed out that in this country we do not elect leaders or rulers. The people we elect to office are supposed to go to the state and national capitols to represent us, we the people. Just because the Anointed One proposes a policy, our representatives are supposed to listen to the voice(s) of we the people and not vote it into law because it is their party or let themselves be bribed, (with our money). They are there to represent us, not to tell us all what they think but to act as we think. Obviously, with a population of 320-plus million, it would be impractical to submit every issue to a public referendum. However, when an overwhelming majority of the American people vocally and consistently disapprove of any given proposal, it must be incumbent upon our elected representatives to listen and vote for what the people want and not what their liberal ideology demands.
