KELSEYVILLE — Kelseyville won all three singles matches against St. Helena and was leading in both doubles matches Tuesday when rained intervened and brought an early end to this Coastal Mountain Conference tennis match at Kelseyville.

The Knights, undefeated on the season (5-0) and 3-0 in CMC play, won all three of the singles matches in straight sets. Moses Kuzu cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Lucas Walter in first singles and Alex Stempe beat Katie Conover 6-1, 6-1 in second singles. Stephen McQueen completed the sweep with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Alec Fetzer in third singles.

Before doubles action was halted because of rain, Nils Mostin and Monique Santana held a 6-0, 1-0 lead over Maddie Oliver and Chelsea Hoff in first doubles. The second doubles match was early in the first set with Kelseyville”s Josh Alvarado and Glenn Mostin up 3-2.

“It started raining just as doubles took the court,” Kelseyville coach Jeff McLaren said. “It started to get too slippery and we had to call it.”

The Knights play at Clear Lake on Friday at 4 p.m.
