Why do people deface signs?
Why is it that people feel the need to deface the signs along Highway 29 south of Lower Lake. For whatever reason no one has a right to damage or destroy another person”s property. There is a business sign, for a struggling contractor that was damaged, there are political signs that have been X-ed out.
I wonder if it is the particular sign content or just an opposition to the signs along the highway in general? Whatever the reason, this has only managed to make the approach into Lake County fit the distasteful comments we have all fought hard to stop about our beautiful county.
Please, if we all try to work for the betterment of Lake County, be it the struggling self-employed or a candidate for office trying to right some wrongs; we will all benefit in the long run.
Next time, choose to voice your opinion in a positive forum, not as a blight along our beautiful roadways.
