CLEARLAKE — Response requested for a single vehicle accident around 6:46 p.m. Sunday ended in arrest. Rosa Hernandez, 25, of Clearlake was arrested following the incident for driving under the influence (DUI).
According to Clearlake Police Lt. Craig Clausen, Hernandez was traveling southbound on Lakeshore Drive near Huntington Avenue. Hernandez apparently allowed the Saturn LS she was driving to leave the roadway where it went through a fence, multiple shrubs and small trees.
Response was requested by a bystander who expressed concern for the subject leaving prior to the arrival of law enforcement. Officers prioritized calls for service and responded to scene of the crash subsequently arresting Hernandez for suspicion of DUI.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
