“As a result of the annual superintendent evaluation, the Board of Trustees wishes to extend to the superintendent, William MacDougall, a contract extension for an additional three years of service until June 30, 2014,” Anita Gordon, board president, said. “The superintendent wishes to accept the extension. All other provisions of the superintendent”s contract remain the same.”
The board originally voted May 7, 2008 to offer MacDougall a three-year contract as its district superintendent. Prior to serving as district superintendent, MacDougall was the principal of Carl? Continuation High School.
MacDougall is an active supporter of a Safe House program that offers transitional, short-term residence and comprehensive services for Lake County”s at-risk youths.
