LAKEPORT — Team Lost Boys Management announces the addition of three legendary music “pros” to its artist development project, focused on launching the career of the award-winning rock band from Northern California, The Lost Boys (TLB), into national prominence within the music industry.

Acclaimed “song man” and multi-Grammy Award winning producer, David Kershenbaum has reached an agreement to work with The Lost Boys in the area of song development in preparation for their upcoming sophomore release, currently scheduled for the fall of 2010. The music entrepreneur, considered one of the top producers in the world, has more than 75 international gold and platinum albums to his credit. Kershenbaum”s legacy reads like a “Who”s Who” of the music industry, credited with breaking artists like Janet Jackson, Bryan Adams, Supertramp, Duran Duran, Peter Frampton, Cat Stevens and Tracy Chapman. Kershenbaum”s ability to find and launch the careers of developing new artists, has made him one of the most sought after music producers in the industry.

Platform One Entertainment has also reached an agreement to represent The Lost Boys in developing the TLB brand nationally, through a viral marketing program and grass roots approach. The legendary company integrates its efforts with radio stations, video networks, record companies, management companies, film studios, television stations, digital portals and publishing companies, to maximize exposure for its clients. Platform 1 Entertainment clients include Kings of Leon, Bon Jovi, Alice in Chains, Fall Out Boy, John Mayer, Maroon 5, KISS and The Killers.

Events For Good Booking (EFG) Agency serves as a full-service agency for national touring artists, leveraging its contacts and resources in the entertainment industry to connect the promoter with today”s most in-demand musicians. EFG specializes in the booking, production, and execution of events at colleges and universities across the United States and will represent The Lost Boys as their exclusive booking agency at colleges across the nation, while soliciting dates and booking a national collegiate tour for the band.

The Lost Boys are a five-piece rock band, from Lakeport, comprised of 17-year-old Beau Bastian on lead vocals/guitar, 18-year-old Jordan Mills on vocals/drums, 16-year-old Matt Weiss on vocals/keyboard, 17-year-old Thomas Cano on vocals/bass guitar and 17-year-old Gary Boyd on vocals/guitar.

The teenage quintet is touring in support of their 2009 release entitled “Look Out World,” recently nominated as the Rock Album of the Year by the L.A. Music Awards. The L.A. Music Awards also nominated the band for Rock Artist of the Year, with the winner to be announced at the 20th annual red carpet ceremony in November.

The “Why Not Now?” Tour 2010 continues to garner rave reviews from industry insiders and The Lost Boys will continue the tour, beginning May 15, with dates at WORLDFEST 2010, The Shore in Hermosa Beach, The Mint in Los Angeles, the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood and the Indie Music Fest on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.

The 2010 tour has also announced recent additions to the itinerary including shows at the Sonoma-Marin Fair, The Key Club in Hollywood, SummerFest at Venice Beach, and an industry record label showcase at the Vancouver Island Music Business Conference, in British Columbia, Canada.

The Lost Boys tour dates include a hometown show on Aug. 13 with an encore performance at Library Park in Lakeport and a Sept. 24 headline performance as part of the Moore Family Winery concert series in Kelseyville.
