CLEARLAKE ? The Clearlake City Council will meet for a regular meeting 6 p.m. May 13 at Clearlake City Hall. Members of the public may comment on any agenda item under discussion. Public comment provides citizens an opportunity to speak for three minutes on any topic of choice as well.
A proclamation declaring May 17 through 21 as Neuropathy Awareness Week will begin the evening. Second District Supervisor Jeff Smith will also present the final check for the Senior Center Community Garden Project.
Consent Calendar items, which are considered to be non-controversial and will be acted upon as one, include: review of bills; approval of minutes; authorization to surplus one police vehicle; consideration of an offer by Cameron English to donate property; consideration of entering into an “at will” employment agreement with Roy Mitchell for director of finance; consideration of amending the Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) with Clearlake Redev 29, LLC to extend close of escrow; and consideration of the amendment of Article 18-1, administration, and the non-conforming provisions of the zoning ordinance.
Business items include consideration of expenditure reductions to solve the city”s and redevelopment agency”s serious financial problems.
