No one, or group can wholly own a day. If a group decides to celebrate something on a given day, they are encouraged to do so. They can”t, however, dictate what everyone else can do on that day.

Can you imagine how bizarre it would seem if on Christmas the Christians required the non-Christians to do certain things! What if on St. Patrick”s Day no one was allowed to eat any food but Irish food. Sound stupid? It is.

No group can suspend others” rights just because they choose to celebrate something.

On the Fourth of July most of us celebrate, but there are absolutely no requirements of anyone and no other celebrating is banned. No flags are banned. No songs are banned. No nothing is banned. This is, after all, the tradition of America.
