CLEARLAKE — The Clearlake City Council will meet for a regular meeting 6 p.m. May 27 at Clearlake City Hall. Members of the public may comment on any agenda item under discussion. Public comment provides citizens an opportunity to speak for three minutes on any topic of choice as well.
The regular meeting will follow a special Redevelopment Agency closed session concerning conference with property negotiators; related party is ABC Hair Salon.
Consent Calendar items, which are considered to be non-controversial and will be acted upon as one, include: review of bills; approval of minutes; monthly reports by the police department and the city clerk; and consideration of an agreement between the city and county for emergency and non-emergency use of equipment, equipment operators or materials.
Business items include:
? Public hearing to consider confirming assessments for administrative penalties for failure to abate public nuisance; “payment and collection of penalties.” Seven like-items follow identifying specific properties up for abatement.
? Consideration of adoption of the Draft Housing Element.
? Consideration of extending the 2009-10 Fiscal Year budget of the city and redevelopment agency until the 2010-11 Fiscal Year budget is adopted.
? Consideration of a loan from the Taxable Housing Fund bond proceeds to make the ERAF payment.
? Consideration of borrowing between operational and special revenue funds in order to stay fiscally solvent.
? Authorization to terminate the agreement with the county for participation in the Lake County Marketing Program.
