LAKE COUNTY — The Clear Lake Cardinals are home and the Upper Lake Cougars hit the road today for North Coast Section quarterfinal-round softball playoff games.
Clear Lake (20-4) hosts Fort Bragg (17-7) at 2 p.m. in Division IV action. Upper Lake (12-8) faces College Prep (19-0) at 2 p.m. in a Division V game at Fielding Field in Berkeley.
Clear Lake is the No. 2 seed in Division IV. Upper Lake is the No. 8 seed in Division V.
Quarterfinal-round winners advance to the semifinal round either Tuesday or Wednesday. Champ-ionship games are June 4 or June 5.
