CLEARLAKE — Clearlake Police responded to the 4100 block of Wilder Avenue just before noon on Monday following a report of a physical fight with a possible stabbing victim.
Lynda Lou Cook, 24, of Clearlake was arrested in relation to the incident.
According to Clearlake Police Lt. Craig Clausen officer arrived on scene to find a 40-year-old male with a stab wound to the leg. The victim was treated on scene and released.
Lt. Clausen said that information was received at the scene led officers to a residence on Mesa Drive, where contact was made with the suspect, who was later positively identified by witnesses.
Cook was taken into custody and booked into Lake County Jail for battery on a person and use of force, other than a firearm, likely to cause great bodily injury.
