UPPER LAKE — Upper Lake High School students interested in running cross country during the fall 2010 season are required to attend a meeting Monday beginning at 6 p.m. in Room 12 at Upper Lake High School.
Returning runners are urged to invite one new runner and his/her parents to the meeting. Parents and guardians of both new and returning cross country runners are urged to attend. It”s a chance to meet the coaches, learn about the sport, the summer program, “The Cougar Challenge,” the Relay to the Coast and the running camp scheduled for the upcoming season.
You will not sit on any bench in cross country. You will be a full participant.
Upper Lake won both varsity and junior varsity boys” titles last season. Incoming freshmen and beginners are urged to come out and find what cross country is all about.
Refreshments and food will be served at the meeting.
