Thanks to Tom Harty for the astounding statistics on the lobby industry. All of our elected politicians will never clear up this mess. It is up to the voters to use our grass-roots rights to make it illegal to offer or give money, gifts, favors, lunches and fact finding trips in exchange for votes and influence. We the people must put such an initiative on the ballot.
Lobbyists, of course, have their right to express their opinions, but not for any kind of compensation.
