COBB — Junior golf classes will be offered on five consecutive Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. beginning July 8 at Adams Springs Golf Course on Cobb Mountain.
Golfers between the ages of 8-14 are invited to participate and sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served bases. Spots are limited.
Joe Myers, the Adams Springs golf pro, is the class instructor. Entry forms are available at the Adams Springs pro shop.
Classes includes short irons and chipping (July 8); middle irons and pitching (July 15); long irons, lob shots and sand play (July 22); fairway woods, putting and tee shots (July 29); and course management and etiquette (Aug. 5).
The junior golf classes lead up to the Buckingham Junior on Aug. 10 at Buckingham and the Lake County Junior on Aug. 11 at Adams Springs.
