MARYSVILLE — Tylor Smith had a pair of hits and drove in all three Kelseyville runs as the Giants beat host Marysville 3-2 in a second-round game at the Gary Orton Memorial Invitational Tournament of Champions for Little League teams in the majors division on Sunday in Marysville.

Kelseyville is now 2-0 in the double-elimination competition. The Giants, managed by Sonny Duty, beat Southshore 11-2 in an opening-round game on Friday.

In Sunday”s action, winning pitcher Noah Lyndall worked the first five innings, allowing just one run. Derrick Aragon worked the sixth to record the save.

The Giants turned a double play to end the game.

In Friday”s action, Aragon launched his first home run and also doubled, driving in five of Kelseyville”s runs. Lyndall, Logan Barrick and Aragon combined on a five-hitter.

Kelseyville will play the winner of Monday”s game between Colusa and West Side on Friday at 6 p.m.
