The news media is using the doom-and-gloom crowd to gain viewers, with their nightly gloomy assessment of the oil blowout in the Gulf. Our president should be judged on his handling of the problem when the well is capped and the clean up finished, and not until then.

Right now the media is asking to judge the pie contest before the pie is done. The government has no skills to cap the well and must wait until those who do, get that job done. Our President should be using his efforts in bringing new regulations to law that will better handle the next blowout, and that will happen down the line, in time. Those who need to be whipped are sitting in D.C. and not the board rooms of BP or big oil.

BP will pay a huge price for its part in this, Mother Nature and man”s efforts will take care of the damage in time. The funds spent by BP in reality, $50 billion plus, are being pumped into our terrible economy, that otherwise would not be at this point in time, bringing thousands of jobs when our nation drastically needs them. New high-tech will be born from this blowout, and it bring more jobs and funds to this nation. In no way, as bad as it is, is this spill more harmful to our world than what comes out of our exhaust pipes or what we spray in our fields to grow our food supply.
