KELSEYVILLE — The annual Sonoma State/Kelseyville High School volleyball camp takes place July 12-14 with a July 15 bonus day at the Kelseyville High School gym.
The camp is split into two groups. Players entering the sixth through eighth grades in the fall participate in Camp A. Players entering the ninth through 12th grades in the fall participate in Camp B.
Camp A costs $90. Players check-in at 8:30 a.m. and meet from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each of the three days of the camp. Camp B costs $110. Players check in at noon and meet from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. each of the three days of the camp. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be registration at the door the first day of camp provided space is still available. You should bring broken-in court shoes, shorts and kneepads. Water is provided.
Sonoma State head coach Bear Grassl leads the camp. Members of the Kelseyville High staff will assist him.
All fundamentals will be covered, including overhand and underhand passing, spiking, blocking, serving, individual and team offensive formations, and individual and team defensive formations.
