CLEARLAKE — A Clearlake man was arrested for hit-and-run Thursday after leaving the scene of a vehicle collision.
Richard Alan Olivieri, 46, was arrested and booked into Lake County Jail for hit and run resulting in injury.
According to Clearlake Police Sgt. Tim Hobbs, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Olivieri was traveling southwest on 10th Street in the Clearlake Park area.
Olivieri allegedly ran the stop sign at 10th and Country Club Drive where the Chevy Astro Van he was driving collided with the Mitsubishi Eclipse that was traveling westbound on Country Club.
Sgt. Hobbs said that the female driver of the Eclipse suffered minor injuries.
According to Sgt. Hobbs, Olivieri left the scene of the collision by foot.
He was contacted by officers a short distance away and was arrested without further incident.
