LAKEPORT — Charlie Collins moved from ninth place to the lead on lap 12 and went on to win the bomber main event Saturday night at the Lakeport Speedway.

Collins opened up a commanding lead before taking the checkered flag in front of Mike Neilson, Andy Norton, Ryan Sweeney and Justin Dutcher.

Robert Byers won the trophy dash. Heat winners were Norton and Collins.

In modified action, Thomas Wright moved into the lead on lap 37 and held off the field the final 13 laps to win the main event. Richie Potts came in second, Chuck Pruett ended up third, David Lyndall was fourth and Mark Marek rounded out the top five.

Lyndall claimed the trophy dash. Heat victories went to Potts and Mike Smithhart.

In the mini-stock division, Thomas Esberg held the lead nearly the entire way in the main event but it was Sean Keown passing him for the lead on the final lap and taking the win. Esberg came in second, Robert Schmidt was third and Jason Pratt finished fourth.

Anthony Esberg won the trophy dash and Pratt won the heat race.

The Clover Hydro Jammers main event combined the pros and juniors. Ellis Thornton grabbed the lead on lap 10 and never looked back to win the pro portion of the race in front of Eddie Klein and Mike Peterson. Caity Miller was the junior winner followed by Jackson Long and Kayleigh Sullivan.

Trophy dash winners were Deake Lyndall (pro) and Sullivan (junior). Mike Peterson won the heat race in the pro division while Miller won the junior heat race.
