What is the best plan?
If our planet”s climate is, as Mr. Knutson suggests, “divinely controlled,” why, let”s just sit back and watch the fun! If panels of distinguished scientists (and countries from all over the world) have jointly accepted the deadly scenario of global warming and taken action together already to step back from the abyss ? what would Mr. Knutson have us do ? quit all that, await heavenly salvation ? while we deny human responsibility for human actions?
One of his “solutions” does please me: “quit reproducing,” hits the right tone: might we consider: “slowing it down?” (or does he think 200,000 teen pregnancies in the United States last year were peachy-keen?)
Does the “divine plan” really include unending, skyrocketing exponential population growth? If it does, allow me, please, to disagree (and suggest, also, that humans can create peace instead of war ? or would Mr. Knutson”s “divine controller” have a problem with our “interfering” with his/her heavenly agenda, when it comes to all-out nuclear war?)
