I just wanted to thank you for continuing to publish Lowell Grant”s columns. We need his point of view represented in Lake County to keep from scaring all the tourists who expect to see nothing but right-wing, redneck blather here.
I especially appreciated his piece on Sarah Palin. It effectively and succinctly summarized the reasons why so many women of integrity and intelligence were offended and outraged when the Republicans nominated her as McCain”s VP candidate.
Now if you could just concentrate on some positive news about Lake County on the Friday and Saturday front pages, that would be a big help to struggling local businesses. Why focus on crime and algae when we have a chance to make a good impression for visitors?
