CLEARLAKE OAKS — An Esparto man was injured Saturday in a motorcycle collision in Clearlake Oaks. John Medeiros, 46, was ultimately flown via REACH air ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Joseph Wind, Medeiros was traveling westbound on Highway 20 west of Orchard Shores Drive when he allowed the 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was riding to cross over the center lines.
The motorcycle entered the opposite lane of travel where it struck a 1975 Ford F150 pick-up truck driven by David Andrade, 39, of Clearlake.
Both Medeiros and Andrade were single occupants of their respective vehicles. Officer Wind said that Andrade had complaints of pain, however was not transported by medical personnel.
The collision remains under investigation by Officer J. Bushey.
