CLEARLAKE — The Clearlake City Council authorized abatement penalties on two properties Thursday. Administrative fees amounting to $9,545 were authorized for failure to abate.
A $6,695 penalty was levied against property located at 13981 Morgan Avenue, property owners: Shandor and Cynthia Szentkuti. Abatement activities included demolition and removal of one substandard dwelling structure, a detached carport and removal of garbage and debris.
A $2,850 penalty was levied against property located at 14961 Saroni Parkway, property owner: John Rupert. Abatement activities included demolition and removal of a single wide mobile home and attached carport and removal of garbage and debris.
