LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Board of Supervisors will meet for a regular meeting at 9 a.m. today in Supervisor”s Chambers at the County Courthouse in Lakeport. The agenda includes several public hearings being with protest hearings at 9:15 a.m. regarding annual water standby charges and delinquent water fees in several county service areas. The item also concerns lighting fees and delinquent sewer fees.
Another public hearing is scheduled for 9:45 a.m. regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Discussion items include the annual grantee performance report for program income activities; an amendment to the income reuse plan; and fund transfer.
The third public hearing continued from July 6 concerns a request for a variance to allow construction of an addition to an existing home in Lakeport.
Also on the day”s agenda is a discussion concerning the priority level and options to install a bridge at Wildcat Road in Kelseyville.
The Clearlake Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. tonight at Clearlake City Hall. The lone item of business is in consideration of whether the sale of property for the expansion of Yuba Community College is consistent with the Clearlake General Plan.
Members of the public are invited to come to the meeting and comment on any item under discussion.
