CLEARLAKE — An investigation by Clearlake Police led to the arrest of a Clearlake woman Sunday in connection to recent bomb threats to an area bank. Betty Sue West, 29, was arrested on two felony counts of making a false bomb report.
According to Clearlake Police Department, both bomb threats were called into Bank of the West in Clearlake on July 10. The bank was closed for more than an hour subsequent to the threats.
Following about a week”s investigation, officers were led to arrest West at her Clearlake home Sunday morning. She was taken into custody by Sgt. Rodd Joseph without incident and booked into Lake County Jail on the two felony charges.
