KELSEYVILLE — Moses Kuzu of Kelseyville won all three of his singles matches on Monday to take top honors in the Konocti Junior Challenge tennis tournament at the Gard Street School courts in Kelseyville.

Four players participated in the round-robin competition in the sweltering heat.

Kuzu defeated Alek Hurst of Healdsburg 6-1, 6-1 in the opening round, beat Jeffrey Langevin of Ukiah 6-4, 6-2 in the second round, and defeated Marc Cantu-Marston of Ukiah 6-2, 6-2 in the final round. Both Kuzu and Cantu-Marston were undefeated going into that final match.

Cantu-Marston beat Langevin 6-2, 6-3 and Hurst 6-1, 6-3 in his first two matches.

Third place went to Hurst, a 6-3, 0-6, 11-9 winner over Langevin.
