I want to thank the Record-Bee for the recent article about the foster grandparent organization. I”ve been a foster grandparent at Lower Lake Elementary School for 15 years.
I would like everyone to know how wonderful it is when one of the students comes up to me and puts her arms around me and says, “I love you grandma Pat.” I love helping every one of them and I enjoy doing any work that the teacher, Mr. Luce, asks me to do.
We need more people to become foster grandparents. There used to be more of us at Lower Lake. Now, I am the only one at Lower Lake Elementary School.
