CLEARLAKE — A parole search on the 15000 block of 30th Avenue led to the arrest of two Clearlake men Wednesday. Both men were charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and manufacturing/selling/possessing dangerous weapons/explosives.
Clearlake Police Lt. Craig Clausen said during the parole search, which was conducted at approximately 1:54 p.m., a short-barreled shotgun and ammunition were located.
“According to Penal Code 12021(a) it is illegal for a felon to be in possession of a firearm and according to Penal Code 12020(a) it is illegal for anyone to in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, so the officer arrested both felons who were in the house,” Lt. Clausen said.
Seth Matthew Dandridge, 25, and Steven Michael Stone, 31, were arrested on the above charges and booked into Lake County Jail. Stone was also charged with violation of parole.
