LAKEPORT — Thomas Wright won his fourth main event in the Coors Light Modifieds division on Saturday night at the Lakeport Speedway.
The caution-free race saw Wright take the checkered flag in front of Aaron Hicks, David Lyndall, Richie Potts and Steve Taylor.
Taylor was the fast qualifier at 12.623 seconds, Lyndall won the trophy dash, and heat race wins went to Potts and Danny Bishop.
Bombers
In the Snake Pit Development bombers class, Charlie Collins nailed down his fifth feature win of the season in front of Mike Neilson, Justin Dutcher, Mike Swaney and Ryan Sweeney.
Mike Collins and Charlie Collins set the fast time, both at 14.178. Dutcher won his first trophy dash of the season, while Robert Byers and Charlie Collins were the heat race winners.
Legends Cars
Stanislove Osterlund qualified the fastest in the INEX Legends Cars of the Pacific with a time of 13.681 and he went on to win the main event, beating David Winchel, Donny Darter, Tony Mangini and Bob Kuebler to the finish line.
Winchel won the dash and second heat race. Darter won the first heat race.
Hydro Jammers
A peanut-shaped road course was set up for the Jammer Jam. The course featured turns on the front and back stretches with a chicane through the infield. Pro Jammers were put up front. Jim Foley took the early lead before Eddie Klein assumed control on lap nine. Ellis Thornton then surged to the front and held the lead the rest of the way, claiming his third main event.
Patrick Thornton won the trophy dash and Ellis won the heat.
The Junior Jammers started behind the pros. Jackson Long pulled to the front on lap two and never looked back, collecting his first feature event win.
Kayleigh Sullivan won her second trophy dash and Caity Miller claimed her fifth heat race.
The Lakeport Speed-way roars back to life this Saturday when the BCRA midgets join the Nor-Cal Pro 4 Modifieds, the bombers, jammers and NCRA mini-stocks. There is also a burnout contest.
