This is a letter of gratitude and praise for one of the best damn owners we could have (yes, have) the ability to work for. That man is William “Bill” Myer.
He stood with us, keeping us employed and paid on a regular basis during these truly uncertain times, when other men would have cut and run due to circumstances beyond their control and slipping from their hands. Bill is there for us at Piedmont Lumber.
His tireless effort shall not go unnoticed and he has been and is there in our community with donations through the guise of Piedmont Lumber; of time, lumber, equipment, support and funds for our schools, community and religious projects, functions and parades.
Our compassion and thanks will be with him as he and Piedmont Lumber go forward in life.
From Bill Myer”s grateful Piedmont folks: Candace Blackstone, Linda Bellah, James Bennett, Suzie Bernard, James Bishop, Tyler Black, Keith Bowen, Tammy Castro, Clint Cole, Clark Day, Lynette Fishel Dunbar, Richard Gard, Joyce Goekler, William Hansberg, Keith Hogfoss, Dale Johnson, Tim Karlyle, Steve Lugger, Jude Maldonado, Adam Maldonado, Dean Murphy, Dara Phillips, Maria Poyner, Dennis Price, Matthew Radcliff, Heather Rather, Paul Reading, Chris Robinson, Roger Sonnenburg, Karen Spillman, Harold Taylor, Robert Tellez, Scott Vaars, Mario Villalobos, Julie Vogel, Terry Wagner, Michael Wagner, Michael Walker, James Ward, Judy Whitfield, Diana Wooldridge, Sondra Sykes, Kerri Velaquez, Alan Boyd, Karen Foster, Laurie Metcalf, Steve Settle, Tom Drolet, Gene Kirkendall, Tammi Mandeville, Glen Dye, Tom Fay, Tiff Fay, Tom Kelly, Phil Panos, Robert Pasalo, Rick White, Ted Mandrones and Griffin
