LAKE COUNTY — Soda Bay Road from Big Valley Road to Stone Drive will be closed to through traffic 24 hours a day, seven days a week, starting Thursday.
The closure will continue through August, the Public Works Department stated. Crews will detour traffic around Soda Bay Road at Stone Drive and Big Valley Road.
Local traffic and those going to Konocti Vista Casino will be allowed access down Soda Bay Road.
Crews also started work on the Soda Bay Road and Mission Rancheria Road Realignment project. Mission Rancheria Road will have single-lane controlled traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Wednesday. Drivers can expect delays up to 15 minutes, the Public Works Department reported.
