LAKE COUNTY — Southshore Little League Allstars won the District 2 championship for 2010, on July 10 in Yuba City. The team advanced to sectional in Chico and finished second in the Northern Calif. Sectional tournament. This was the farthest Southshore Little League Allstars has made it in Southshore history. The team includes: Ryan Dahneke, Josh McCarty, Antonio Fonceca, Jake Peters, Daniel Eagle, Chris Montoya, Ian Stiles, Tony Jones, William Isaacs, Billy Martin, Isazaih King, and Zef Roofener. The coaching staff are: manager Troy Dahneke and coaches Troy Isaacs and Jim Peters.
