KELSEYVILLE — At least one of three armed Kelseyville men ages 18 to 20 who allegedly broke into a house in Kelseyville just before 5:30 a.m. Monday knew the victim, the Lake County Sheriff”s Office stated.

An officer arrested the three men, Julio Castellanos, 18, Sean Fahnholz, 19, and Knute Zollo, 20, soon after, the department reported.

A 35-year-old male Kelseyville resident called the Sheriff”s Office Monday morning to report that he could hear prowlers trying to break into his home, LCSO reported. While on the phone with the dispatch center, the man said three armed suspects had forced entry into his residence. Sheriff”s deputies responded using their lights and sirens, leading the suspects to flee the scene.

After getting a description of the suspects, deputies searched the area and found the men at a nearby residence in Kelseyville, the Sheriff”s Office reported.

Castellanos was arrested on suspicion of committing a felony while armed with a firearm, participating in a criminal street gang, criminal threats, first degree burglary, attempted robbery and probation violation. Fahnholz was arrested on suspicion of committing a felony while armed with a firearm, criminal threats, burglary and attempted robbery. Zollo was arrested on suspicion of committing a felony while armed with a firearm, burglary and attempted robbery.

The Sheriff”s Office did not release the name and address of the victim or details about the weapons pending further investigation.
