LOWER LAKE — A Clearlake man sustained major injuries after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon. The 46-year-old man was ultimately flown via REACH air ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
According to California Highway Patrol, at approximately 1:05 p.m. Cynthia Hale, 50, of Clearlake was traveling westbound on Main Street in Lower Lake in a 2004 Dodge pickup. When she proceeded to turn right onto Highway 53, the male injury victim, who was walking northbound in the crosswalk, was allegedly struck by Hale”s vehicle.
The incident remains under the investigation of Officer R. Forslund.
