CLEARLAKE — The Clearlake City Council will meet for a regular meeting 6 p.m. Thursday at Clearlake City Hall. Members of the public may comment on any agenda item under discussion. Public comment provides citizens an opportunity to speak for three minutes on any topic of choice as well.
Lake County Youth Center dancers lead the evening”s agenda with performances of the Maori poi ball dance and Tahitian dances. A presentation by Nancy Bennett, regional public affair manager for the League of California Cities follows.
Consent Calendar items, which are considered to be non-controversial and will be acted upon as one, include: review of bills; police department monthly report; consideration of approval of an agreement between Konocti County Water District and the Board of Supervisors to purchase two tax-defaulted parcels located within the City of Clearlake; and a status report on using volunteers for code enforcement.
Business items include: Consideration of the draft Homebuyer Program and Substantial Rehabilitation Program guidelines.
