Is it possible that Lake County Special Districts is unjustly proposing a rise in sewer? It has been declared that overflows have resulted in fines. Are the overflows occurring during times of storm runoff?

Why not stop the storm waters from entering the sewer system?

Are we being taxed to expand and improve the sewer system to accommodate growth such as the proposed commercial development at the juncture of Highway 53 and Old Highway 53?

Could it be that the developers of these projects will pay thousands of dollars to connect the sewer system? Could it be that the rate-payers will get a break when Special Districts gets all that money?

I admit that I don”t know all of the facts.

I wanted to attend the meetings but life got in the way. This is why I formatted this piece in question form. I don”t trust government officials.

I believe that career politicians are corrupted by special interest or by power, or both.

Everyday I get the Record-Bee. I turn to letters. I am inspired and amused by the opinions of those who write.

They feel strongly about the issues they write about. I respect their opinions, even though I disagree with their views.

As an American, I feel every person has a right to be heard.

Thank you all for sharing your views.
