Would it not be a good idea for the county to build concession stands to lease to local business owners, to offer limited food and drinks, rental beach equipment – beach chairs, umbrellas, tubes, etc. The lease fee”s would return the cost of the building, and in the future, would help lower the cost of every day maintenance of each. The concessions would be held responsible for keeping the beach area clean each day, and also would be there to maintain safe order by alerting law enforcement if needed. It would also bring construction jobs to the county.
