LAKEPORT — The annual Lake County Football Scrimmage, a fundraiser hosted by Clear Lake High School, takes place Friday beginning at 4:30 p.m. in Lakeport.
Junior varsity and varsity football teams from Clear Lake, Kelseyville, Lower Lake, Middletown and Upper Lake high schools will participate. Each team”s offense and defense will get 10 minutes on a running clock to scrimmage against the offensive and defensive units of the other county schools.
Varsity teams scrimmage on the west side of Don Owens Stadium while the JV teams scrimmage on the east side.
The event runs until about 8:15 p.m.
A new feature this year is a cheerleader exhibition.
Admission to the scrimmage is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Dinner is included in the price of admission.
