CLEARLAKE — Lakeshore Bait & Tackle is teaming up with the Department of Fish and Game to sponsor a hunter safety class Sept. 20-22 and Sept. 25 at the new IMPACT training facility next door to Lakeshore Bait & Tackle.
The hunter safety class is required for individuals who do not already hold a hunting license. The class works well for children ages 7 and older (depending on learning ability) as well as adults. You must attend all four sessions to complete the course.
Course sessions on Sept. 20-22 are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Sept. 25 session runs from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The cost is $5 per person and payment is due when registering. You can register for the class at Lakeshore Bait & Tackle.
