I was appalled but not surprised to see Rod Mitchell”s full-page smear ad published in your newspaper.
It is reminiscent of the dirty tricks campaign he waged against Joe Totorico in 1994. It worked then but it will not work this time. Remember that our deputies are trained professional lawmen and the sheriff is a politician.
Ask yourself if you want to continue with a policy of justice based on who you know or do you prefer equal justice?
