DURHAM ? Clear Lake junior varsity football beat Durham at Durham Friday night with a final score of 27-13, according to Tom O”Rourke, head coach.
“We”re pretty excited. It”s a nice way to start the season,” O”Rourke said.
The score was 27-0 at the end of the first half with 199 yards of total rushing and 281 yards for total for the game. Vince Rave was the leading rusher with 159 yards and two touchdowns. William Ventresca scored one touchdown, as did Luke Punzalan.
Defensive leaders were Punzalan, Ventresca and Andre Buendia. Coming up huge in the second half with a fumble recovery and a sack was Adrian Perez, according to O”Rourke.
