ST. HELENA — Clear Lake High School junior varsity soccer team lost 5-1 in St. Helena on Monday. Kristy Hayes scored the lone goal with an assist by Jessica Sanders.
“It was a tough game,” co-coach Tony Paskaly said. “There was a stand-out performance by Adrianna Guardado and a strong performance by Raquel Perez.” Paskaly said CLHS outshot St. Helena by five.
“I”m proud of them, they played their hearts out. They had a hard fight,” Paskaly said.
The next game will be against Willits at home on Sept. 22 at 4:30.
