COBB ? The 28th annual Lake County Amateur Golf Championship takes place Oct. 2-3 at Adams Springs Golf Club on Cobb Mountain.
The $100 entry fee includes two rounds of tournament golf, a Saturday luncheon at Adams Springs, the prize fund, trophies and tournament tee prizes.
The Amateur will have four divisions ? men”s scratch and net flights, a senior flight, and a junior flight.
Entry deadline is Sept. 27. Entries can be picked up at area golf courses. The Lake County Amateur is a player point event on the Lake County Amateur Golf Circuit and is a fundraiser for Lake County Junior Golf. Call John Berry at 279-0449 for more information.
