LAKE COUNTY ? The Knights and the Cardinals squared off on Thursday and after two periods of competition ended up on top 3-2. Coach Eduardo Ledesma said, “It was a really tight game.” Most of the game was “focused on the midfield” where Zel Burgoyne “shined” Ledesma said.
Jorge Aguilera scored the first goal in 11 minutes of the first half, assisted by Oscar Martinez, who scored the second goal in minute 19. Cesar Arroyo booted in the final Kelseyville goal from the pass by Gerardo Siordia.
Goalie Jonathan Cruz anchored the Knights defense with several saves.
