Despite the astute defense of Annie Martinez, the Cougar ladies fell 4-3 to Fort Bragg. Coach Mike Sheets praised Martinez for her seven saves on goal. Amber Sheets and Jamie Henry were also instrumental in keeping the game close with their “exceptional play,” Sheets said. Fellow Cougars Bethany Rynal and Tanya Carter played well and look forward to entertaining Lower Lake on Tuesday.
