KELSEYVILLE ? Kelseyville Junior Varsity football team beat Cloverdale at Kelseyville 30-14 Friday night for the second win of the season. Last week Kelseyville beat Hamilton City at Hamilton City 22-13.
John Reagan passed four for eight for 72 yards on Friday night. He rushed six carries for 21 yards. Kevin Duty rushed five times for 39 yards and scored twice. Zack crone rushed twice for 72 yards and a touchdown. Nate Jones rushed four times for 35 yards and a two-point conversion. The defense was led by Zack Coco with eight tackles, three assists and one sack.
Duty had four tackles, two assists and a fumble recovery. He returned the fumble 68 yards for a touchdown. Jack Cyr had four tackles, three assists and a fumble recovery.
Coach Mike Lyndall said the team played to a packed house and he is very proud of the team and how well they are working with the new system.
Kelseyville will play Clear Lake High School in Lakeport Friday during Homecoming.
