KELSEYVILLE ? Kelseyville boys varsity soccer tied it up 4-4 vs. St Helena at home according to Coach Eduardo Ledesma.

“I thought it was going to be an easy game. It was not ? got complicated. First goal in the first half in 13th minute ? They scored right after ? and then two more. They had us at 3-1 in the first half,” Ledesma said.

Stand outs were Jose Salazar, Wenzeslao Rojas and goalie Jonathan Cruz had about five saves.

“In the second half we scored and they scored right after again. We were down 4-2. Then we scored by penalty kick. We made the equalizer. The fourth goal was made with about one minute left. Goals were made by Rojas with three goals and Oscar Martinez with one goal. Assists were made by Cesar Arroyo with one assist and Martinez with one assist.

Kelseyville will play next at Upper Lake on Thursday 4:30 p.m.
